Overview
This extended Manali holiday is designed for travelers who want to explore beyond the main attractions. Along with Manali local sightseeing and Solang Valley, the itinerary covers the scenic Lahaul region, Kullu, Naggar, Kasol and Manikaran.
Travel from Chandigarh towards Manali through the scenic mountain route. Enjoy views of the Beas River and Himalayan valleys along the journey. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Evening is free for Mall Road exploration.
After breakfast, visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Old Manali and Vashisht Village. Continue to the Tibetan Monastery and Van Vihar before exploring Mall Road. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed towards Solang Valley. Enjoy the scenery and optional seasonal activities at your own cost. Continue through Atal Tunnel towards Sissu if conditions permit. Return to Manali in the evening.
After breakfast, travel towards Naggar and explore the historic area and surrounding mountain scenery. Continue towards Kullu Valley and enjoy local shopping opportunities. Return to Manali for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive towards Parvati Valley and visit Kasol, known for its riverside scenery and mountain atmosphere. Continue to Manikaran to explore its famous hot springs and religious sites. Later return to Manali, subject to road conditions and available travel time.
After breakfast, check out and start your return journey to Chandigarh. Enjoy the scenic mountain route and suitable breaks along the way. Reach Chandigarh by evening/night.
