Cancellation / Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, modifications, and refunds are handled for bookings made through us. ## 1. Cancellation Request All cancellation requests should be submitted to Book Bharat Tour through our official communication channels. The cancellation date will generally be considered the date on which the cancellation request is received and acknowledged by Book Bharat Tour. Cancellation requests made verbally may not be considered valid until confirmed through an appropriate written communication. ## 2. Cancellation Charges Cancellation charges depend on: * Date of cancellation * Date of travel * Hotel cancellation policy * Transporter's cancellation policy * Airline/rail/bus cancellation rules, where applicable * Activity or sightseeing provider policies * Supplier-specific terms * Type of package booked Because different suppliers have different policies, the applicable cancellation charges will be communicated to the customer based on the specific booking. ## 3. Advance Payment Any advance amount paid for a booking may be partly or fully non-refundable if suppliers have already charged cancellation fees or if the booking has been made under a non-refundable rate. ## 4. Hotel Cancellation Hotel cancellation and refund conditions depend on the hotel's policy and the rate booked. Non-refundable hotel bookings may not be eligible for a refund. Where a hotel provides a refund after deducting its applicable charges, Book Bharat Tour will process the refundable amount to the customer after receiving/confirming the applicable refund from the supplier. ## 5. Transportation Cancellation Cancellation of taxis, buses, transfers, or other transportation is subject to the relevant operator's cancellation policy. Any advance paid to reserve a vehicle may be subject to cancellation or booking charges. ## 6. Package Cancellation For complete tour packages, the refund amount will be calculated after deducting applicable charges from hotels, transportation providers, activity providers, payment gateways, and other suppliers. The customer will be informed of the applicable deductions before the refund is processed where reasonably possible. ## 7. No-Show If a customer does not arrive for a confirmed service or fails to use a booked service without prior cancellation, it may be treated as a **no-show**. No-show bookings may be non-refundable depending on the supplier's terms. ## 8. Early Return or Unused Services No refund is generally guaranteed for services voluntarily unused by the traveller after the trip has commenced, including unused hotel nights, sightseeing, meals, transportation, or other package components, unless the relevant supplier agrees to a refund. ## 9. Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances Travel in mountain and other remote areas may be affected by weather, snowfall, landslides, road closures, traffic, government restrictions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances. If services cannot be provided due to such circumstances, Book Bharat Tour will make reasonable efforts to assist with alternative arrangements, subject to availability and additional costs where applicable. Refunds, if any, will depend on the amount actually recoverable from the relevant suppliers. ## 10. Refund Processing Approved refunds will generally be processed after the applicable supplier refunds or confirms the refundable amount to Book Bharat Tour. The time required for a refund may vary depending on the payment method, bank, payment gateway, hotel, transport operator, or other supplier. Any non-refundable transaction or payment processing charges may be deducted where applicable. ## 11. Booking Modification Requests to change travel dates, hotels, vehicle types, destinations, number of travellers, or other booking details may result in additional charges. Changes are subject to availability and supplier policies. ## 12. Refund Method Refunds will normally be made through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method where reasonably appropriate and legally permitted. ## 13. Non-Refundable Services Certain services may be specifically marked as **non-refundable** at the time of booking. By making payment for such services, the customer acknowledges the applicable non-refundable conditions. ## 14.
